Well, even if I had the technology / knowhow to incorporate pre-existing film footage or dreamscapes into them (other than simply pointing a camera at the computer screen), I still wouldn’t want to just use other people’s imagery.
The fascinating video for the “real” “Bulldog” is fine as it is, and the same goes for the other official Beatles videos. I don’t see the point of just duplicating what was done already by others.

…also, the Budokan stuff et al wouldn’t be any use for my purposes. The Alternate Hystery Tour project only consisted of all the non-Pepper material recorded between Nov 66 and Feb 68: all of MMT, the four YS tracks, Lady Madonna /Inner Light, Across The Universe , You Know My Name and Christmas Time Is Here Again , plus a few “original creations” like those last two.
GEORGE: In fact, The Detroit Sound. JOHN: In fact, yes. GEORGE: In fact, yeah. Tamla-Motown artists are our favorites. The Miracles. JOHN: We like Marvin Gaye. GEORGE: The Impressions PAUL & GEORGE: Mary Wells. GEORGE: The Exciters. RINGO: Chuck Jackson. JOHN: To name but eighty.

Can I make a special request to a moderator that this thread be renamed something more general (Vonbontee/Von Bontee’s videos and things” or whatever), and these other two threads…

…folded into it? I’d like to have just the one catchall thread where I can share links to my several Beatles videos, copyrighted music and all. And probably re-upload the complete “Alternate Hystery Tour” as well. I’d really appreciate it!
Anyways, here are links for whoever’s interested in these. I thought “Birthday ” and “Blackbird ” are pretty good; “It’s All Too Much ” and especially “Hey Bulldog ” are less successful, but I didn’t put much thought into the visuals, since I mostly wanted to preserve the mix. Second “Birthday ” is very half-assed, but it served as documentation of a combo surprise 80th birthday party/family reunion, so I wasn’t trying for anything artistic.
