Hey there folks, I’d like to share some of the stuff in my blog, The Reconstructor. I’ve made a bit of Beatles-involved projects in there, and plan on a lot more in the near future. In this thread, you can discuss, request and criticise anything on my blog. A little about the Beatles postings:
– The Beatles – A Doll’s House
A triple album version of White Album , with some later tunes that were already written thrown in, different versions and a nice alternate mix. Most probably my favourite of my versions
– Travelling Wilburys – Travelling Wilburys Vol. 2
Imagining if they had released the second volume instead of doing nothing in 1989, compiling from their solo material’s contributions with other Wilburys
– Paul McCartney and Wings – Water Wings
A tentative compiling of the original version of London Town , with only material from before and during the Virgin Islands sessions with Joe and Jimmy
Some other Beatle-related stuff are in their way as well!

Some other stuff I plan on:
– Paul McCartney and Wings – War and Peace (ToW as a Wings album)
– John Lennon – Rock N’ Roll People (1973 Rn’R sessions)
– George Harrison – Shanghai Surprise OST
– The Beatles – With the Beatles (original material only)
– John Lennon – Between the Lines (a comp. of his ’75-’78 demos)
– Paul McCartney and Wings – Red Rose Speedway (double or even triple LP version)
– The Beatles – Off the Beatle Track (if they released a debut album in 1962)

23 July 2016
Here’s 3 more you should add to your list:
A Beatles album released after Let It Be
An album consisting of a supergroup containing Paul McCartney , Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, John Bonham, and Linda McCartney
A live album from Queen’s The Miracle and or Innuendo tour

I’ll happily help you with the final project (Off The Beatle Track) if you want. I can create album artwork if you want, but first of all I need to know are the songs with Tony Sheridan on vocals and/or Pete Best on drums on this album, is it Ringo, or a combination? The only songs with Ringo that would go on there ATM are How Do You Do It and the 1962 singles (which mean that some of the stuff on Please Please Me won’t be on that album in this universe).

That’ll be about half of the Decca Sessions, the 4 songs the Beatles recorded in ’62 for PPM and “How Do You Do It ?”. Half Pete and Half Ringo. Not the greatest album by any means, but a nice compilation from the year, anyway. And about the 4 song gap on Please Please Me : add in From Me To You , Thank You Girl , Hold Me Tight and One After 909 ! We now have two LPs instead of one

Can I just say, it is one thing to discuss imaginary tracklistings, however – and I am sure @Joe will agree – we do not want to see public conversations of people offering to collaborate on making bootlegs.
There are legal implications for Joe should this forum become too associated with bootlegs. It is one thing to post a link to a blog, but please do not start openly discussing collaborating on the creation of new bootlegs on the forum.
I thank you.

1 – I’ve tried ’em about 54895489 ways and NEVER got satisfied with the result, so I about gave up on that
2 – Good one! The one I consider then closer to reality would be that of Paul, Pete Townshend, Phil Collins and David Gilmour, all four participating in eachother’s records in 1985 (Townshend, Gilmour and Collins in Press To Play , Gilmour in Pete’s White City, Townshend in Dave’s About Face and so on). A damn good band, if you ask me
3 – I’ve already done that, check it out – A Night at the Miracle Pavillon (I’m the OP – not actually a live album, but a setlist)

My advice – I think that these fantasy album articles GlassOnion makes in future should just be the album artwork, a bit of info, and the tracklist in words without any MP3 download links at the end. If people want to hear the tracklists, they can compile them themselves.

Interesting idea! I can imagine PPM now being called “One After 909 with How Do You Do It and 12 other songs.”

I only upload the download links when I edit stuff from the album, or use some bizarre rare-to-find alternate version, so i’m extra-careful about that
