The Curling Beatles | Fab Forum | The Beatles Bible

Just finished my fourth season at the local curling club. 

There was a team of four who always dressed alike in green hoodies. They were really, really good and beat us everytime. I got everyone to call the The Beatles.

We only beat them twice, and they beat us like 6 times. We tried calling ourselves The Rolling Stones and had a rivalry, but became very good friends. We always played about 4 ends every week, fighting back against the volunteer coach lady who wanted us to do drills. These guys literally had the magic touch. We threw shots which were OK, but they would come in and be ON THE MONEY every time. Their best player was someone I called Paul McCartney , so that’s good.

After 10 weeks I awarded them “MBEs” in the form of Deutschmarks.  We have been really good friends, and their George Harrison guy won a lot of awards at the ceremony. Hope to see them again next year.
