I’m not really flogging anything, just letting anyone here interested in the tarot that there’s an excellent deck using the Beatles and Beatles lore on view here:

I think it would be fascinating to pull together a Beatles who’s who for each of the Major Arcana cards.
The Fool – Magic Alex
1 The Magician –
2 The High Priestess –
3 The Empress
4 The Emperor –
5 The Hierophant – Maharishi
6 The Lovers –
7 The Chariot
8 Justice
9 The Hermit – Jimmy Nicol
10 Wheel of Fortune
11 Strength –
12 The Hanged Man –
13 Death
14 Temperance
15 The Devil – Allen Klein
16 The Tower – Saville Row
17 The Star
18 The Moon
19 The Sun
20 Judgement
21 The World
Is this highly mystic and not to be played with?

I know nothing about tarot cards so i took everything literally. As John sang “I don’t believe in Tarot“.
Jimmy Nicol went into hiding a while after leaving The Beatles World Tour of 1964 so The Hermit.
Star – Ringo because Starr.
Sun – Paul as he is tries to be bright, happy etc.
Moon – John as he can have his moments of dark or light.
World – George was was vocal about the world and being in it but not of it.
The last three are open to be swapped.

john also said “I Am The Walrus ” and later recanted, saying he meant “i am the carpenter”. i’m sure he believed he didn’t believe in that litany of things in god when he wrote/sang them, but it’s telling how later in life he appeared to fall hook line and sinker for all that hocus-pocus, choosing for instance the session musicians on milk&honey based on the numerology of their names.
of course you and anyone can choose what they want or even what they don’t want to be their own tarot – in this case beatle tarot – deck. and given the nature [or preternature?] of the tarot, each and any person/thing suggested for each card can be argued as valid and reveal some idea of meaning. [for instance: the sun card actually has a strong sinister side which now that you mention it kinda relates not only to paul’s left-handedness but his false front as mr. chirpy]. that said, due to ignorance, this arbitrary allocation remains a superficial game. not to mention the 56 cards remaining in the minor arcana.
that said, how about the screaming beatlemaniac fans as Judgment? or the screaming beatlemaniac female fans as the Empress? you’ve already jammed square pegs into round holes, still you’re left with some albert holes.

My daughter (who is completely, hopelessly and eternally Beatle-obsessed) has spent the last year designing a Beatles tarot deck, plus descriptions that explain link between card image and meaning. I’ve scanned them so will upload a couple of images. Hang on…
The High Priestess: Yoko Ono. Intuition. Mystery. Subconscious.
The Lovers John and Paul. Love. Relationships. Connection.
Justice: Bigger than Jesus. Right and wrong. Cause and effect. Retribution.
Four of Cups
Don’t Bother Me. Apathy. Self-distancing.
Seven of Wands
The Ballad Of John And Yoko . Defence and attack.
Princess of Wands
Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds . Creative. Exploring. Potential.

It’s funny, I was just designing some tarot cards the other day (a subject about which I previously knew next to nothing — I learnt a bit during the process), though they weren’t Beatles ones.
I don’t believe in Tarot but they’re fun to draw.
