Attention fans of The Beatles, as part of a project for university I have put together a campaign. Basically to show that we can drive and build an audience.
The Beatles live at The Internet
Come together to celebrate 50 years of the fab four during 2014 in a bid to re-create their iconic crowd from the likes of The Cavern Club to Shea Stadium.
Our aim is to host a cyber-crowd where fans of The Beatles can simultaneously watch footage of John, Paul, George and Ringo on significant dates in the bands history, to show that even after fifty long years the band are still going as strong as ever.
Starting from a relatively small capacity of The Cavern and hopefully eventually sell out the Shea Stadium of over 50,000.
Go to our website and simply enter your email to receive your ticket for this once in a life-time experience.
Any help would be brilliant. Please remember it’s all a bit of fun!
If you have any questions please ask away

@Starr Shine? I don’t think tickets have gone “on sale” for the others yet.
And copied from other thread:
I’ve just “bought” a ticket. Seems like an interesting idea. Keep us posted. Though again, I’d say this might want to be in Pimp Your Stuff.
(By the way, just noticed a strikethrough function was added, great, I’d been wanting that

Thank you all for signing up! We’ll send off your virtual ticket’s, profile etc in the coming week.
Just to clarify, the only ‘tickets’ available are for the Cavern, and then when we hopefully sell that out, we’ll be then pushing for the Ed Sullivan Show and then even more with the eventual target of Shea Stadium.
If you could all spread the word to all of your friends and family that would be a real boost to our project!
Thanks again.

Is it all the available Cavern performances and footage or just a couple?
Is there an opportunity afterwards to discuss what is viewed and if so do you have to have a facebook, twitter, other social media account to participate?

Can we see a preview of how it’s going to look? The website seems sparse on details.
Failing that, can someone who ‘attends’ this first event please post screengrabs so we know what to expect in future?
Can buy me love! Please consider supporting the Beatles Bible on Amazon
Or buy my paperback/ebook! Riding So High – The Beatles and Drugs

Looking around the site i found that “Ticket holders will be able to discuss the performance via social media.” So thats me out as i’m not and have plan or desire to be on social media.
Still, its interesting to see how this goes down. For instance how do you stop one of the audience sending their ‘ticket’ on to friends so they can watch as well without having to send their email address?
More details on this would be good @BeatlesHologram.

@meanmistermustard You can probably participate otherwise… I wasn’t planning on doing the social part either.
@BeatlesHologram I put in my name and email and wasn’t sure how to submit it… The only button there was help, but I’m on mobile so that may be it

I’ll wait on more information before handing over my email address, i’m one who veers on the side of caution.
@meanmistermustard I have a Junk email for that because I tend to not trust people also.

@mrkite
I’m glad so many of you have taken an interest in our project! We really appreciate it.
To clear up some of your questions:
@meanmistermustard The footage that will all participants will be watching will be the footage from The Cavern that is up on YouTube. We would just like to point out that we do not hold any ‘never-seen-before footage’, we simply want to bring together a crowd of Beatles fans to watch clips of The Beatles at the same time and place. Almost as if it were a concert happening in real time. To answer your second question, yes there will be places to discuss the event as it happens, such as via our Twitter and Facebook accounts, which can be found on the website. However, we are also aiming to feature a forum within the website, just like this one, for those without social media accounts. For your third question, people may do whatever they want with their tickets. The reason behind submitting your email for a ticket is to we can take a count of how many people would like to be a part of this and record the number.
@Joe We cannot show any previews at this current time as obviously the first event has not happened yet. However, we will certainly be recording the first even. We want as many as possible to be a part of this project and we recognise that some may be hesitant towards it, so we will definitely want to show off exactly what it is and what happens.
@mrkite We’ve made a couple of changes to the website as a result of this. The ‘HELP’ button was the ‘ENTER’ button. We’ve now changed it back to ‘ENTER’ to prevent any further confusion.
Thank you for your questions as it helps us understand where we are going wrong with out design, layout etc.
We’ve had a great response so far and already have 45 emails in the space of a few days and we look to increase this significantly throughout the next two weeks.
Thanks again.

I didn’t either, I think he said they’d be sending them out later.

Hi all,
So if you haven’t read our previous forum we’re a bunch of students working on a project to create the ultimate Beatles virtual experience. If you’re a fan of any age, then follow the link below, and sign up for your free ticket to all of our upcoming virtual events. We’re recreating the beatles journey from rags to riches and we hope to get over 2000 sign ups to match their famous performance at the London Palladium in 1964! All we need is your name and email address.
Here’s the link to the website: http://beatlesinternet.wix.com…..esinternet
you can also like us at our facebook page
https://www.facebook.com/thebe…..38;fref=ts or follow us on Twitter @beatlesinternet
Also, to answer some questions from the previous forum, we are building on content all the time as this is a brand new project. We’re heading into our local town tomorrow to meet some Beatles fans, and next week we’re carrying out a petition in our SU! So keep checking for updates, we’ll be posting our findings, and we really appreciate anyone who can signup and help the cause!
