Well, played is quite a generous description. Tortured seems more accurate. Ah well, as long as he had fun, eh?

This is almost a comic strip, @Beatlebug. Maybe try a 2-3 frame strip, I like the idea of a cartoon about Beatles recordings 😀

Now I'm a confused bassist ukulele guitar synthesizer kazoo penguin everyone who is definitely not @Joe. This has been true for 2016 & 2017 but I may have to get more specific in the future.

I sorta did one earlier, about Think For Yourself –I think it’s on the previous page.
And one could argue that it is a comic strip, even though it’s only one frame, because with the addition of the speech bubbles, there is the sense that time passes. But it’s more like a couple of frames of film condensed into a cartoon.

And here is ‘the next big one’! This is my side of the latest draw-off between @Mademoiselle Kitty >^..^< and I–as for her side of it, I’m not authorised to say anything about that. I completed it some time ago, as you can see, but I’ve been very busy lately so I haven’t been able to post it.
@AppleScruffJunior, this is what I meant when I said I was very intimately acquainted with this photo. One does generally get to know a photo verrrrry well when one draws it.

I love it, @Beatlebug I’m very jealous you so successfully turned such a difficult photo into such a fab drawing. I’m afraid I’ll have a very hard time getting even remotely close to this!

Grand! So tell me… which is your favourite? Mine would have to be my 62 George portrait.

Oooh that’s very good, I’m jealous (P.S. if you want to be more British-like, do the day/month/year format for dates rather than the American month/day/year- which I never really understood).
One day I’ll draw George and put it up here- it’ll give ye all a laugh anyways.

I generally do sometimes. (Wait , was that incoherent?) It depends on my mood, which can be terribly confusing. I suppose I ought to straighten it out.
And when you say ‘put it up here’, I assume you don’t mean this thread as it’s

Yes, I think that is your most accomplished drawing. However the one I enjoy the most is the John dated 4/25/15. Your artwork on that one really brings out his tender side.

Ah, thanks @sigh butterfly! I really need to do another one in that vein, more technically accomplished but just as brings-out-his-tender-side, now that my portraiture has improved.
And speaking of John, here is a portrait of him which I did today because, y’know, today. (RP)
