Offline @Beatlebug Sometimes after the first view of one of your videos, you show up on my You Tube suggestion list. Here is a screenshot from a few days ago.
It’s cool right, it always catches me by surprise. A while back when you posted Swingin’ you ended up in the middle of an all Petty suggestion list. Btw- I gotta tell you that one really got me. When you holler “Tom Petty” at the end the rain finally fell.

I guess Tom vibes with nature almost as much as George. I expect you saw that absolutely perfect weather phenomenon in my video of “Long, Long, Long ” where it started raining after the break?

I hadn’t heard this song before (that’s how remiss I’ve been exploring George). Beatlebug captures the spirit and tonality of George’s voice pretty well, but imho missed one tiny thing I noticed in George’s original — where George does this thing with his voice right on the word “come”, in the line But this love it don’t come as no surprise. I don’t know how to describe it, it’s like his voice breaks, it’s like a sign of weakness or vulnerability that can be quite endearing. It might be virtually impossible to replicate; it just comes to George spontaneously.
Thank you! Yes, he did have that quirk to his singing that is hard to replicate. It’s technically an imperfection which ends up giving his vocals their essential character (I love things like that).

Offline Yes, that is a dramatic Long, Long, Long . You really brought it (OOH-OHH!!) I even had a little flashback. For years I misheard the lyric “How can I ever misplace you?” as “How can I ever in a spacesuit?”. Thus I thought the song was about floating around forever in outer space.
Hope you have a chance to debut a video for Georgemas. 
If not, you have a lot of good ones to choose from.

Wow… that is amazing. I tried for years to do art but I always ended up being frustrated and hating the outcome, so I quit. I now but everything I have into music. I congratulate you because you are good at both!

I have always drawn, since I could hold a pencil. Music came a little later. It can be difficult sometimes to balance the channeling of creative energy between the two, let alone dividing my time, but I need both outlets to stay sane.
