The Dear Prudence cover was soooo good! It felt very pastoral, like I was sitting in the Rishikesh listening to John play it.

Beatlebug, lovelyritametermaidI've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

I concur.
Bowie can know all of my secrets…… ……I feel blessed to have him stare into my soul……
Also, I watched a few of your covers and I found your playing and singing exceptionally lovely, Bebu! I especially loved “Dear Prudence ” and “Miss O’Dell” and that gorgeous richly coloured acoustic guitar with those marvelous nature and sunshine backdrops *chef’s kiss*

I’ve been trying to find a Beatley gif/image that emulates the *chef’s kiss* but I always end up falling down a rabbit hole of looking at gifs/images of Paul and Linda being deeply in love

It do be like that tho. I probably spent at least 30 minutes of the time it took to do that drawing getting utterly distracted by drooling over ah, consulting “reference” photos…

Some housekeeping: as alluded to elsewhere, I have a playlist here which contains covers of some Beatley songs as well as others and which I’ve been updating pretty frequently, if anyone cares.
Fantastical Beatlebug! I’ll be enjoying a springtime listen in today’s backyard sunshine (with my trusty companion Charlie).

such a relaxed vibe to your covers. not trying to force anything or show off, just playing the song the way you feel it. i absolutely love it.
Your Love Is Forever is probably my favorite that you’ve done. its one of my favorite songs but you totally get it. Like Ringo you play to the song

Awww, thank you so much @sir walter raleigh, that’s a wonderful compliment. I’m glad you feel that way because I do try pretty hard to a certain extent, but after a point I’m just like “yeah that’s good enough, it’s just a casual demo” (part of me is perfectionist and part of me is lazy, and they battle continuously ) and obviously the whole point of the exercise is to show off to some extent, but in the end it really is just a bit of fun so I’m glad it comes across such.
I wanna redo “Your Love is Forever” with a few more guitars at some point (but not too many, so stay tuned…
Also here’s “Calico Skies”.

Haha, I live at the edge of the suburbs, not quite in the country; I have a fairly large (and presently very overgrown [I love it]) yard and I’m fairly good at camera trickery to hide all the boring neighbors’ houses and such, but be assured that I am looking for a home in the Heart of the Country…

Wow, then you are a clever cinematographer! I think I got confused because I thought I saw a bear in your yard in a recent pic you posted. I need to find it . Is the tree you climb sometimes in your yard or just nearby? I always thought that activity would make for an interesting song subject. (No one I think is in my tree – but me ).

The cherry tree which I often feature in my videos (e.g. Mother Nature’s Son – I actually tried to record it sitting in the tree, but it didn’t work ) is at the very edge of my yard, right next to the fence. The shed is actually my neighbors’ shed, but it’s so picturesque. There’s another couple of trees in my yard that I climb, one which you may spot in the background of Dear Prudence et al, and one in the woods proper.
I really should write something about sitting in a tree.

I love the sky in the background. All Things Must Pass is a very overcast day type of album to me.
