I’m a little slow on the draw (see what I did there?), but the new avatar looks great. I have to confess that I thought your first avatar was supposed to be a self portrait. That probably says more about Paul’s, ahem, less rugged features than yours, which, of course, are a more closely guarded secret than Mr. Kite’s age.

Beatlebug, Ahhh GirlI say in speeches that a plausible mission of artists is to make people appreciate being alive at least a little bit. I am then asked if I know of any artists who pulled that off. I reply, 'The Beatles did'.

You’re nice. The draws look very cute to me. :33
I would like to show you a draw I made of Ringo but something is wrong with my laptop and I can’t get the picture into my laptop so I can post it -.-
Sometimes I just hate technology.
But anyway keep drawing! It’s cute and nice

My latest:
George of a 1979 vintage: this started as a random scribble while waiting for the supper to be finished, then turned into a proper portrait. I’ll tell you a little artist’s secret: I spent more time on George’s guitar than I did on him. 🙂 Guitars, like most instruments, are deceptively difficult to capture, especially in wonky perspectives like the one below. Time to show some light in this thread! It’s not that I haven’t been doing Beatley drawings– it’s just that I haven’t found time to scan them properly.
Anyways, without further ado:

Nice work. The shading on the left side of his face & neck is a cool touch.
Take away the mustache and that could have been me in my late teens.
Seriously?! You had hair that awesome?! And eyes that stunningly gorgeous?! I’m sorry if I have slight trouble believing you.

Too funny. I don’t know about the eyes thing…But yeah, my hair and facial features were very similar to our George, sans the hairy upper lip.
I’m just a jealous gal

JPM-Fangirl is inspiring me. I can’t stop drawing Beatles!
Here’s a couple I did a while back (September) but hadn’t scanned till now– just little cartoons, really. My interpretation of a particular line in Think For Yourself . (I)
And here’s yet another George portrait. I know, I know… but the man’s a fascinating subject! I promise I’ll do Paul or Ringo or John next. I started it yesterday and I really didn’t want to stop working on it to sleep, but I had to– and I fell asleep with George’s grin imprinted on my mind’s eye… (RP)
Work-in-progress:
Completed:
His hair was, as usual, too much fun. And I haven’t drawn anybody’s teeth in ever so long, so along with the interesting perspective, this one was a nice little stretch.
Drawing the Beatles has taught me so much about portraiture… especially George!

Ahhh, thanks! I thought it was rather nice myself, but there’s nothing so cheering as hearing someone else does too
Drawing George really makes you appreciate drawing George, doesn’t it?
