When I was a young girl, my father managed a large cattle ranch in Missouri. In the early hours of a 1964 Sept Saturday the Beatles were flown into the Ozarks where they spent the weekend relaxing. They rode our horses, fished with our poles and just relaxed. It was an honor to have them and has been a treasured memory. In honor of these 50 years our Alton Community Foundation is hosting a two day festival. It’s a big deal! Check out their webpage at
