a-hard-days-night-ringo-8When its out of copyright expect 7 remixes that thru the wonders of technology strip the song back to its very core and then modernise it into a new exciting incredible experience that will leave you breathless. It will showcase just how much music can evoke a number of emotions in the listener and take you into the 23rd Century. All for the unbelievable price of £7.98.

Translated – we’ve taken a free song, dubbed some electronic whooshy noises and keyboard thats sounds like its been dropped and then stood on along with a man talking garbage fast. We’ve then repeated this 6 times with slight variations. Now give us your money.

iTunes offer 90 second samples so i listened to those and formed an opinion. If you are served a meal which is horrid do you eat it all and then complain or after a few mouthfulls?

I suggest you to download the EP and listen to it carefully on a good stereo system. The 90 sec. previews are not enought to give a correct judgement. Play it also to your grandchildren, friends etc… and listen to what they say. Give it some time. Like all “new” sounds it can take a while to digest. I guarantee to you it’s been made with love and care. We are now in France and last night more than 2000 people danced in Cannes to the Liverpool Remix of Love Me Do from “The Beatles Are Back”. Some said they never danced to the Beatles’ music before and they loved it.

So i pay £2.49 or whatever it is for 3 tracks i dont like 90 seconds of!?  Yeah, thats not going to happen.

Stick on most music in a nightclub and as long as its got a good beat they will dance to it.

Everyone is usually drunk or high in a club anyway…they’d dance to just about anything by that point!

Look, you can’t force people to buy something they don’t like. I’m sorry the world doesn’t work that way, ok maybe in the Justin Bieber world it does. You also cant force them to buy something without them trying it too. So, by saying they have to buy it first to appreciate is wrong especially if its nonrefundable. I agree had you put on youtube it might have been better. I would’ve put it on youtube and seen how the reviews were before I posted it to itunes. I’ve checked the reviews on itunes and they’re mostly negative. I didn’t find as horrible as the Jonas Brothers covering The Beatles, but wouldn’t waste 99 cents on it. Do you have proof of the people dancing?

Edit: Scratch that. I just did a currency converter, so it would actually cost me more than 99 cent. It be $1.33 which would be 4 cents higher than the normal price for a song on itunes here in America.

Idk both are bad or least to me

At least I would get the Jonas Brothers version for a decent price.

Ayy! The Jonas Brothers actually did not want to do a cover of Hello Goodbye . One of their things is never cover a Beatles song, but Disney made them do it because they had to be in a Target commercial and that’s what they were told was going down. Also, The Jo Bros are the greatest ever, so you can’t criticize them, even for doing a terrible cover of Hello Goodbye . Their cover isn’t even that bad, though, if you compare it to other commercial covers. As a song, it’s bad, but as a commercial song it’s a little better.

Was the record company holding a gun to their head? No, so they could have said no. It was about the money. I don’t think they’re the greatest thing ever, but its fine if you do. If you like the cover ok, but I don’t and thats what makes an opinion an opinion.

Gosh, calm down. All I was saying is, what commercials even have good cover songs? Because I don’t think there really are any of those. a-hard-days-night-paul-10paul-mccartney

Nah, I don’t mind. I think most people dislike The Jonas Brothers. I was really only being half serious anyways.

Not excited for this release of this EP. I would prefer the orignal version of Love Me Do anyday. I listen to two minutes of one of the songs that Joe linked to us on Twitter, and all I could say that this is complete s**t. The Beatles are Back? They never left!

And if you saw my love, I'll love her to.

I think that if Rock’n’Roll arrived today you would be the ones calling it “noise”, right?

Depends. If it was as s**t as those remixes i would be calling it s**t – does that count? My advice, go back to your state of the art technology, strip it back, taking off all the crap thats been dumped on top, and start again. There are good beatles remixes out there, why not hunt down Tuned To A Natural E or the Beatles Remix Group and take some pointers instead of just believing we are the ones who are tone deaf.

I vote we delete this thread.  It’s leaving a bad taste in my mouth.

Beatles fan mixes and mashups are made for fun.  This is a crass exploitation of an expired copyright to try to squeeze money out of unsuspecting rubes.

E is for 'Ergent'.

You probably know what early rock and roll is, so it really doesn’t depend, I don’t think.ahdn_paul_01
