So the little town of Pawling, NY has a public radio station that people can stream, and they’ve asked me to do a weekly half hour Beatles program; each week will have a theme (no competition here with Wetsroosa). (I’m calling the show “Beatles and Friends” so I can throw in some Hendrix, Stones,…)
Here was the first one last week. It focuses on the 12 songs the Beatles had in the Top 100 fifty years ago. I play the best version of “I Saw Her Standing There ” I’ve every heard.

The link is only good until Friday (I was seriously hesitant to post this). All suggestions welcome. (The voice level is too low at the end and will be corrected for the next show called “True Lennon-McCartney collaborations”)

Wait a few moments, then you click “Listen Live” on the right.
Then, on the left, you click the line just below “Listen Live”
It airs on Friday evening at 8 PM and repeats Sunday at noon (Eastern Time).
There’s even a phone app! – called Pawling Public Radio (not sure if there’s a space between words). You click, it and you’re on.

Offline Really enjoyed the show and not using the commercial versions for each of the songs. Hadnt heard that Royal Command performance of Twist And Shout for ages and Pauls I Saw Her Standing There rendition was fantastis, not heard that before.
Looking forward to next weeks.
