Hello, upon coming to this forum I have realized people are incredibly serious about the beatles. I am a fan of the beatles and try to get some decent knowledge in but probably not as hard core as everyone else here. As an entry ticket I present some of my stereo remixes. I have not seen a section for introductions or stereo remixes so I guess I will just put it here. Here is my latest stereo remix, All My Loving. And here is a recent stereo remix, Hello, Goodbye. I think someone might be interested. Sure they could use a little work but right now I am working on a very long project, she loves you twin track.

Offline Hello, @Utamia. I approved your post then realized that your links go to download files, and I remembered a rule that Joe put in place last year:
“If you wish to share files, please use a third-party upload service such as YouTube (for video) or SoundCloud (for audio) and embed the file. So, your post/content is fine. We just need you to upload the files to another source and then put links to them in your post.

Offline Currently a work in progress. This project is bound to take a very very long time but I hope to make an original stereo mix that everyone can use for their own listening, remixing, and remastering. I will update this thread as this project continues. The goal is to, when I fold down the original tracks that it be exactly the same as the mono source used.

I have uploaded three remixes of With the Beatles, but lately i’ve just been trying to go back over those few and perfect or almost perfect them. Here is “It Won’t Be Long” the vocal tracks have artifacts which I may not be able to remove. I haven’t went back over this yet. She Loves You has lots of artifacts which I am currently trying my best to remove. So far it looks promising.

Offline Youtube Link <– Here is an update to she loves you in stereo. In the description of the video there is a link for a forwards version, since I had to upload the song in reverse to avoid the video blocking. There are still alot of artifacts and I haven’t touched much of that yet. Right now i’m going to finish the ending portion of the song so that I don’t have to worry about it later, and after that the introduction.

Offline I have another update with a small bit of progress. For this I quickly slapped on some poor reverb effects. I’m not sure whether I should add reverb like other beatles stereo mixes. Link
The artifacts haven’t been fixed yet, i’m working on getting all the nasty vocal treble out of the instrumental track.

Offline Just another small update showing what i’ve isolated from the new mixdown. Every mixdown I start with a new file to isolate from. It’s getting better. I’ve found a way that may help me speed up the process of removing the vocal grind out of the instrumental track. As written in the video, I stated that this mix should make it very easy to isolate every multitrack from this song, and perhaps fix the edits. For instance the “pride” edit. It would be fairly easy to remove the open hi hat and take some hi hat from the previous edit to make it sound continuous. I’ve tried this with these tracks full of artifacts and it seemed like it could work in the future. Other edits are hidden under some of the lead guitar portions which could be fixed by isolating the lead guitar and doing the same type of stitching, not to disgrace the song but to improve the quality.
I feel like fixing the edits should only be used for a mono remaster and not this stereo mix. Perhaps it could be used with the stereo mix while releasing an unedited version for people looking to remix or remaster the song on their own.

Offline Something new! I’ve been slowly progressing on she loves you stereo, but what I have right now is a new stereo remix of All My Loving . It’s almost the same as the one I have uploaded before but the isolations are a whole lot better. Here is the link. Basically it’s just furthered from the last stereo remix. I was doing With the Beatles for 2016. I haven’t done Dont Bother Me yet. I just made a stereo remix for this song and after a while i didn’t like the way things were isolated because alot of stuff panned and wasn’t isolated well. So then I just furthered it. I haven’t done more songs on With the Beatles because of some projects I am working on and She Loves You stereo.

Offline I am starting from scratch on She loves you. This time I will be extracting the instruments first, so that the only thing that is left is the vocals. This should have less artifacts and should be quicker.
