Hi there!
My name is Abby, and I’m the author of Bites with The Beatles. Pleasure to make your acquaintance.
A quick foreword, I started roaming around this website and forum about 6 years ago under a pseudonym (which I won’t give away, I was an awkward-borderline-annoying 13/14-year-old at the time), and since I joined, I have received nothing but great love from this community. For that, I am completely thankful. I’m happy to be back!
So as you may have seen a few seconds ago, I run a food blog about the band. There, I create fun recipes inspired by the Fab Four, find exciting places where Beatles-themed dishes are served, and do other fun Beatles-related activities.
The blog was born out of my love for The Beatles, and my love of cooking (and eating!). I’m proud to say that I’ve been a fan of The Beatles from a young age, and it’s a love that continues to grow to this day. I enjoy collecting records and memorabilia of theirs, and I recently adopted a kitten that I named after George. I also love to cook, and I have been cooking from a young age. I’m constantly developing recipes, and testing them out in my kitchen (and having my roommates be my culinary-guinea pigs).
The blog is still in its infancy, but it gives me great excitement to be able to share it with you all. If you love The Beatles and love to cook (or eat!) like I do, I’d love for you to check it out! I hope you guys enjoy!
Dear Sir or Madam, will you read my blog?

Ah, very cool @abby_road_1! We’ve been going through an apple pie-making phase as of late. I’ll have to convince my dad to try your recipe.
Yes, Thanksgiving…

I’m afraid you’re mistaken on the beginnings of the film, @abby_road_1. The film dates back to the summer of 1967. John used to joke, “You can blame Brian for that.” They’d agreed because Brian had told them it would be the third film United Artists were waiting for, and it would only cost them four songs. Only after Brian’s death did they discover UA wouldn’t accept that an animation fulfilled their contract.

Wow, this blog is awesome, Abby!!!
I must admit, when I saw the title of this thread I wondered very much how a food blog can be Beatley without the connections between recipe and Beatles being far-fetched or forced. But you destroyed all my doubts, the connections are very creative and varied ( Paul as a chef is my favourite ).
I’m looking forward to your next entries and if I don’t find myself to be too untalented, I’d love to make some of those YS cookies for my friends for Christmas. (and I’ll make sure they’ll read your Beatles text in the blog entry to continue my longterm goal of turning them into Beatles fans, hehe)
