Hello to all you wonderfully fab people out there!
I’m sorry to make another thread, this is just a quick one. As you may or may not know, I mentioned it in my introductory message, I’m currently writing a research paper on our very own Beatles (dream come true) and I was wondering if anyone was interested in sharing their thoughts on being a Beatles fan? I’m trying to gather one-on-one opinions of us Beatles fans for research, it would just be an informal messaging conversation, no pressure and not all at once, just some questions on what made you become a fan, your feelings on the band, stuff like that! It would be such a great help to me! And if you’re not interested I totally understand! If you are, to let me know, could you either thank this message or comment in this thread? Thanks so much – I hope this isn’t annoying! (the conversations would be on this forum via PM)

Its like routing for the New England Patriots, The Golden State Warriors, and the New York Yankees all at the same time, but you never lose and the season never ends, and you don’t have to feel bad for being a bandwagon fan! If you don’t like american sports you probably don’t get that one. To simplify it: i’ve won every “whos the best band?” Argument i’ve ever been in.

Offline Being a Beatles fan is more than just the music. It’s a way of life. Once you get bitten by the bug, that’s it. Honestly, once I got into John and The Beatles, about a decade or so ago, I don’t think there’s been one day I did not think of them. There’s a strong connection that’s made, and that connection is shared by all Beatlemaniacs. Something that touches your soul has real staying power, and their words and music touch my soul. These four guys were the complete package. Funny, interesting, talented…their fire burned so bright that it will never go out.

I’m sorry if this is a personal question but were you born after the 1960s? (Just as with my study I’m investigating Beatles fans’ thoughts from those who were not alive during the time that the band were together).
