Offline True story – when they “rebuilt” the Cavern in 1982, I “salvaged” a brick from the pile of rubble that was the original building they had used to “fill-in” the cellars. I kept it for years, eventually I wondered what the point of keeping it was – let’s face it, I’d be the only one who knew where it came from. The last straw was when I stubbed my toe on it and in a fit of pique and consigned it to landfill.
Nowadays I could have consigned it to Ebay.
