Hi everyone,
I recently finished reading Mark Lewisohn’s awesome biography of the band (All These Years, Vol.1 of 3 apparently) and in it he often goes into detail about what artists and songs the Beatles themselves enjoyed, listened to, and were influenced by… and so I made a playlist out of the thing. It’s not every single song that he mentions but I tried to narrow down a core essence, so to speak, and do it somewhat chronologically.
It’s something I’ve wanted, and searched (unsuccessfully for) for a while, so I hope you (whoever you are) enjoy it — it was fun to make.
