Do you use real instruments, or a synthesizer?
For example, if I requested a version of “Michelle ” using only acoustic guitar and acoustic bass for back-up, with a clarinet doing the melody (and no singing), would you use a real clarinet?

The clarinet would indeed be syntheziser based
as would all the other instruments.
