Paul. Pete’s not my type. And of all the Beatles I always found George the best looking, if I don’t count Stuart, but Paul is climbing up.
I’m becoming a Paulette
Exactly, if Stuart had stayed a Beatle/stayed alive (ah-ah-ah-ah), George would have had fierce competition

Odd thread, but I voted. As an ex-Paulette, Paul all the way. Pete does look good in that pic, I’ll admit, but Paul looks good in most photos, in a moptop, in the Beatles… Point taken?

This is a stupid thread and is up there with the who’s better on bass, George or Paul, thread. Paul is obviously the cute one and every female back in the 60’s from 7 to 37 was in love with him and wanted to be with him, I mean just look at him.
He was like a non-violent version of Fabio.
And he kept his attractiveness throughout the 60’s.
And even into the 70’s.
Maybe you should try posting more.

I don’t think it’s a stupid thread, at least not as stupid as the one comparing bass abilities. We’re told that all the young girls fawned all over Pete – not Paul! – back in the pre-Ringo days, so who’s to say they’re necessarily wrong? I’m not young, nor a girl, nor living in the early ’60s, but I can understand the appeal of Pete back then – he kinda had that Italianate doo-wop look. I can see why he might not have voluntarily changed his hairstyle to the Beatles cut (even tho he claims he wasn’t asked, and would’ve done so if they had.)
Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.

tbh I could totally see why everybody was in love with Pete and not Paul. That early-phase mop top didn’t really suit him. He looked better right before he got that haircut.
Paul did age well, though, but I can’t say the same for Pete since I don’t know what he looked like after they kicked him out.
I’m undecided.

What a strange question… Curse me for actually taking quite a time to think about this!
Pete is certainly more conventionally handsome, but I find myself shying away from that sort of thing. I prefer men who look more gentle, cute, and (let’s be honest here,) femine. Paul definitely fits that bill more than Pete for me.

I’m not sure it’s fair to judge a forty-one year old Pete Best with a twenty-four year old Paul McCartney . I’m also not convinced that Paul was the better-looking one of them in 1982 based off that picture of him with MJ*. I can say that Paul is definitely the better-looking old person, though.

Paul is definitely the cuter one!
However, a lot of these pictures y’all are posting are actually of Billy Shears, who definitely beats Pete, and at least ties with Paul.
Don’t shoot me, I’m only joking…..or am I?

Someone up there ^^ said it’s unfair to compare and older Pete to a younger Paul. I guess that’s true. So…. Here’s Pete and Paul in 2015.
I purposely chose an ‘action’ shot rather than a studio photo for Paul, to keep the comparison somewhat fair. I think most will agree Paul still looks better than Pete…

Pete’s hair colour is better than Paul’s, imo. Sorry, but I still think septuagenarians’ hair looks better when they let it go naturally grey – the disagreement between wrinkled skin signifying old age and artificially coloured hair suggesting the opposite unnerves me.
