In reading about The Beatles, I’ve noticed there has been some talk of the ladies finding Pete Best very attractive, and that supposedly Paul and/or the other Beatles were jealous, and that was why he was fired. If this is true, then Pete must be more attractive than Paul, since most of the ladies love Paul.
I don’t have an opinion about this, but I’m curious.

Truthfully, though, I always wondered why anyone thought Pete was better looking. I suppose it’s because he was more traditionally handsome whereas Paul was boyishly cute. TBH, I didn’t think Paul became officially “hot” until ’67.

Offline Yeah, I don’t have an opinion either way but I’ll predict that Paul will win in a landslide, pretty much the same result that you’d get if you’d pit Poor ‘Ole Pete up against Ringo on ‘Who’s the best drummer?’. Stuart Sutcliffe would probably beat both of them if you were to poll non-Beatle fans, for his likeness to Justin Bieber in many photos is undeniable, especially after he donned the Beatle haircut…:-)

Offline I just showed this to my wife and she says Pete is cuter but she would rather go out with Paul because he seems like he would be fun and more of a conversationalist. And she also thinks George is the best looking Beatle, on which I respectfully disagree. But he was a good man.
