I think if he could work out the Hey Jude /Give Peace A Chance idea it would be great. John has said many times that even though it was written for Julian, he felt that Paul was talking to him about his relationship with Yoko, and that it was always special to him for that reason.

Sir Paul is my HERO, John is my HERO. I love them both, and you know, friends part ways, these things happen.
Paul also is known for his peace dreams, or anything, and he didn’t have a part in this particular song (which I love).
I’d have to say that Paul does NOT have the right to sing this song, in my very own opinion, then again I wouldn’t mine hearing him sing it in concert, but that’s besides the point.
When I Twish And Shout, it makes the Girl say "What Goes On?", and than I say, "I do this Here, There and Everywhere", and than she finishes by saying "Honey Don't".

Are you kidding me? Of course it’s okay to let him sing John’s songs… I bet if Paul died and John was still doing concerts, John would sing a Paul song (maybe…? ). They loved eachother, c’mon! I like it when they sing eachothers songs; it makes me happy, ’cause it gives me a sense of togetherness, you know? Hmm…
I'm in love, but I'm lazy.

I don’t agree with John’s theory on peace. He claims a world with no war and all peace. This isn’t possible.
Unfortunately currency makes John’s dream impossible, but hey at least he…imagined.
These are both great comments.

That's great! I presume that was during the Let It Be sessions – it sounds ragged enough to be from then.

Zig, thanks for sharing this. I'm not fond of that song that much
because everytime I hear John's singing “I'm sooo tired” I'm like “Yes John so am I” and I yawn
but this version makes me change my mind about it. I love how Paul just throws the words in the last chorus.

You are welcome. I actually found it quite by accident – then remembered there was a thread on this Forum about Paul singing John's songs and posted it. If I'm not mistaken, I think you started this thread. I'd look, but then I'd have to back out of this response and start all over again.
I guess I'm getting Lennon lazy in my old age.
To the fountain of perpetual mirth, let it roll for all its worth. And all the children boogie.

Paul also sang Strawberry Fields Forever , I think, in one of those sessions. You can barely hear him though, so I'm not really sure it's him

He also sings it live. He did it as part of his “John Lennon Medley” which consisted of SFF, Give Peace A Chance , and I think Help ! but I'm not sure.

Well I was thinking, if he dedicated the song to the late, great John Lennon , could we be mad about him singing it?
I know I wouldn't be, and I'm sure would be cool with it weather he was dedicated or not.

Here's that medley:
