Haha yes they do! And there’s a “Sexy Sadie ” session outtake wherein John improvises (?) a song around a “Go Little Ringo!” refrain.

As for the (unasked) question “Does the word ‘Beatles’ occur in any Beatles recordings, the Star-Club version of “Sweet Little 16” informs us that “Her wallet’s filled with Beatles!” (And Mimi gets a bonus namecheck in that same verse.)

Paul: Yeah well… first of all, we’re bringing out a ‘Stamp Out Detroit’ campaign.

Well, if we’re looking at outtakes, there’s tons with them saying things like “Paul forgot to sing!” and “A bit less of George!”

I don’t know if this has been said but in God John says his own name: I was the Walrus but now I’m John.

I love when they mention their names (or that kinda stuff yknow) it feels like it’s breaking some kind of musical fourth wall and makes it more personal to the artist.

^me too. Especially in God , considering how emotional it is.

Whenever I hear one of their names mentioned in a song, my brain automatically goes hey that’s a beatle! they said a beatle’s name! because my brain can be very dim sometimes.

Reporter: Beethoven figures in one of your songs. What do you think of Beethoven?
Ringo Starr: He’s great. Especially his poetry.

I’m sure this one was mentioned already, but The Walrus was, of course, Paul. (Sorry @TheWalrusWasBrian
