This week 2 people credited 2 things and I'd like to confirm one of them.
1. In Spanish forums and websites, there's a George Harrison quote that says “To reunite the Beatles it's neccesary 3 more bullets”. When I saw it first I thought it was too un-George. Well this Tuesday my niece said very sad about the quote and I decided to search it in English and so far nothing. So just confirming : Did George actually say this?
2. Lemon Tree by the Beatles. A student said “Oh teacher my favorite Beatle song is Lemon Tree” and I was like “Which one?” and he said “Lemon Tree”. I searched in youtube, and yes there are tons of videos with Lemon Tree the Beatles, I clicked on one and That's Fool's Garden!!! I wonder how that urban legend started.
BTW My favorite one is the common misconception that Paul McCartney is Julian's godfather. I've seen that soo many times in Spanish language places..

George once said something along the lines of “There will never be a Beatles reunion as long as John Lennon remains dead”. Maybe it got lost in translation somehow. I'm not aware of the bullets thing, or any of the others. What's Fool's Garden?

Fool's Garden is a German band. You can check them here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/F…..27s_Garden
Why is that song credited to the Beatles? I have no idea.
I was aware of that quote, so I thought that something was lost in translation. Thanks Guys.
And I'll say Klaatu is singular Skye, I wonder which Beatle he was.

I heard that as a (black humour) joke.
I'd like to say "thank you" on behalf of the group and ourselves and I hope we passed the audition.

So did I, but a different variation.
"The best band? The Beatles. The most overrated band? The Beatles."

Well I know George has really twisted humor, but considering the attack that he went through I would say it would be tooo twisted. The thing is, I've looked for that quote translated in English and so far nothing.
And which version did you hear Mr. Big?

Yeah, that sick joke (What will it take to reunite the Beatles? Three bullets.) goes back years, back to when George was still alive. It's hard for me to imagine George making that joke on his own; but it's easy to imagine him hearing that joke somewhere, and then appearing on a chat show or some such and repeating it, after stressing that it's not HIS joke, just one he overheard and found darkly witty enough to repeat.
GEORGE: In fact, The Detroit Sound. JOHN: In fact, yes. GEORGE: In fact, yeah. Tamla-Motown artists are our favorites. The Miracles. JOHN: We like Marvin Gaye. GEORGE: The Impressions PAUL & GEORGE: Mary Wells. GEORGE: The Exciters. RINGO: Chuck Jackson. JOHN: To name but eighty.
