I wouldn’t have minded going to either the All You Need Is Love or Hey Jude performances/broadcasts. Would have been fun singing along with those crowds (and especially The Beatles themselves!)

Oh without a doubt Hamburg 1960/1961, now I can’t tell you what I would do there but I would definitely have a great time

I would either go to..that concert; or I would go to the Revolver sessions, specifically Taxman . I would also go to Pink Floyd’s Pompeii concert.
YES!
I concur. It would also have been fun to join the Apple Scruffs hanging about outside George’s house, on a day when he was in a good mood.

I agree with mmm and ASJ, I would definitely go to Hamburg. I would have loved to meet Klaus, Astrid and Jürgen back then.

I’d go to the closing of the Apple Boutique, load up on free stuff, and sell it all on eBay. O
^ Oh this guy is smart!
I’ve said before if I went back in time to Hamburg, I’d bring an excellent HD camera with me and record the hell out of it. Sell it to the highest bidder back in 2014 when Beatlemania-nostalgia was at its peak.

Oh yes, ET definitely has a smart idea going back to the Apple Boutique on closing day.
I’d want to be at the taping for “All You Need Is Love “. Cool people there to rub elbows with!

That’s nice to know and gives me 2 answers:
If I had to come back to present day the following day, I would stand right in front of John Lennon while Mark David Chapman tries to shoot him, so he instead shoots me while I’m wearing a bulletproof vest and then I’d tell him that I’m from the future and that the only way to prevent this from happening is to get The Beatles back together, that would be great to come back time and see that.
I’m going to tell part 2 in story form:
It’s the summer of 1963 and I am Jack, a 43 year old janitor from Brighton and I hear this great song called She Loves You on the radio, so I ask the guy who I am working with who sings this and he says it’s this band called The Beatles. I have never heard of The Beatles before, so this is a new band to me.
Anyways, I decide to go to my local record shop and buy a mono Please Please Me LP, and 2 singles, From Me To You and She Loves You , as well as 7 concert tickets, one for me (born 1920), one for my wife Bettie (born 1921), one for Jack Jr. (born 1945), and one for each of my daughters (born 1948, 1950, 1952, and 1955). It was great, wholesome fun for the whole family and it reminded me of Elvis (being a huge Elvis fan myself) and then my son, who’s liked them since day one (although he never seemed to mention them to me) and was friends with George, let me talk backstage with them. From that day on, I was a Beatles fan and I was proud of it.
One day in October, I get a call from George Martin that a toilet needs to be unclogged and that he wants me at Abbey Road studios immediately, so I go there and after I was done unclogging the toilet I decided to stay and watch them record I Want To Hold Your Hand and decided to film some of it on my pocket sized 8mm film camera so I could watch it at home and that gave me an idea.
So right before Christmas I called George Martin claiming to be a security camera installer and successfully convince him to let me install multiple security cameras in the studio and also that I could monitor them. The cameras were of fairly poor quality, black and white super 8mm film with sound, but after each session, I made a copy of them and brought them home and watched them. It sure was nice, although sometimes I lost interest, such as when I was watching George record the abandoned reversed guitar solo to While My Guitar Gently Weeps , kind of pissed me off that he spent all that time and just gave up but who do I care.
Anyways, I stay there until June 1970, 2 month after my 50th birthday and I take the master tapes with me.
Now it’s 1999 and I sell the masters to George Martin for a pretty good price and he releases them on DVD. In the meanwhile, I leak the copies onto the internet for all to enjoy and die happily at the age of 92 in 2012, knowing I lived a good life.

That happened in 1980. This is a thread about the 1960’s.

I didn’t notice that, I guess that means that #2 is the one I would do which is what I would like to do anyways because I would get to see them record everything from I Want To Hold Your Hand through 1970.
