It would be hard for someone with no hands to kill. I find that very unlikely.
You could trip someone over and kick someone in the head until they were dead. Creep into their apartment and sit on them. Using your mouth pour poison into their food. Drop something on them from a great height thru pushing it over the edge. Blow them up. The options are numerous.
The old age time travel altering events problem returns as as far I can understand it if you stop John being killed then everything else changes so now would be different meaning you wouldn’t be in the position you are in at the beginning to be able to alter the events that need to be altered to keep John alive. It becomes a whole loop that cannot be broken. A rip in the time and space continuum. Its why Meet The Robinson’s makes no sense, irritated the living daylights out of me and kept me shouting at the tv for 70 minutes.

But why did you watch Meet The Robinsons? That’s a little kid movie, and it has that terrible song Kids Of The Future in it by the Jo Bros.
and I didn’t say it was impossible to kill somebody if you have no hands, I said it would be harder and less likely.

I watched Meet The Robinson’s one night when nothing else was on and fancied doing nothing. I wouldn’t be able to pick out Kids Of The Future or the Jo Bros on a cd, never knew the song existed or its inclusion in the movie.
Only showing examples (or heldful suggestions).
Talk of no hands brings reminders of Monty Python’s Black Night (warning: contains scenes of a violent nature).

There is another thread that began with this same premise, but it got derailed so deeply that I am leaving it separate from this one and locking it. https://www.beatlesbible.com/f…..traveling/

I’d love to be in AHDH’s shooting and to be one of those school girls. I’d love to hide Patti in a closet and then, try to charm George … and ……
Just kidding. I’d love to witness the 10 hrs recording of PPM .
I can distract Pattie in the closet long enough for you to charm George!

I would probably head for the day of the rooftop concert (and probably encourage them to play a better setlist).
Or maybe one of the Hamburg concerts where their songs lasted 20 minutes long.

BeatlebugI've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

I’d either spend a day in the studio (maybe during RS/Revolver ) or I’d go to one of their performances in the Cavern. Less competition

I would go to the cavern, too. And then attack them all with hugs and get them to sign a whole bunch of stuff. And tell Paul and Ringo to call me in 50 years…

I’d video tape them. I could be at that one play they did or whatever.

I thought I’d answered this before but Hamburg. I’d have to go to 1962 cause any earlier I’d feel like a pedo going after George Harrison .
But yes, I would have fun.

Hmm tough one. Probably any day during the Rubber Soul era smoking weed with them all, laughing and talking nonsense and also insightful observations. That would be enough fun.

31 December 1962, their last hours as a Hamburg bar band before they flew back to Liverpool to conquer the UK over the next year, and then America and the rest of the world. Those last moments where they had no idea what was about to hit them…

I’m torn between 2 choices…
First choice would be attending a concert on the October/November 1964 UK tour. A Hard Day’s Night is one of my favourite albums and hearing the likes of If I Fell , I’m Happy Just To Dance With You , etc. would be amazing.
Second choice would be going back to when they played Chester in May 1963. The venue used to be situated extremely close to where I currently live (along with the other venue that they played in Chester in 1962, The Riverpark Ballroom). Every day I walk past it and wish for someone to hurry up and invent a time machine!
