I had this thought earlier and I'm so happy someone decided to start a thread 🙂
I want to watch them record The End .. I don't know if I read it here or somewhere else that John asked Yoko to wait outside or something while they recorded that song, if it's true I like it
And I reallyyy want to see each one of them playing his solo part of the song.
Of course I might think of more interesting days, but I'm particularly curious about this one!
Do I have to keep on talking till I can't go on!

You probably did read it on this site – here is the article. I agree it would have been cool to see them each playing their solos (soli ?). If for nothing else, just to see the looks on their faces while playing them.
To the fountain of perpetual mirth, let it roll for all its worth. And all the children boogie.

The recording of Strawberry Fields Forever … or the day when John gave the demo of SFF that blew everyone away. I love that version from “Love”! It's just… mesmerizing.

If i was only there watching it would probably be one of the Abbey Road Sessions
If i could do something i would appear in one of the Get Back /Let It Be Session to try to calm some problems or on the day John told the others he was quitting i would try to do a lot to convince him to not do it
John, Paul, George and Ringo= The Beatles
And i buried Tulio!

The day they recorded the whole of Please Please Me . I think it'd be interesting to see them before Beatlemania, and to listen to Twist And Shout live.
I think it's great you're going through a phase,
and I'm awfully glad it'll all be over in a couple

Note by Ahhh Girl: this post originally began a thread titled “If you had a time machine…” Posts 28-65 were in that thread.
What period in The Beatles history would you go back to, if you could only stay for a day? Here are some examples
Would you:
See one of the first Quarrymen performances with only John?
Go back to July 6th 1957 and see the first Quarrymen performance that Paul saw?
Befriend them and go back to a Quarrymen/Silver Beetles rehearsal at Paul’s house?
See George audition for The Quarrymen on the bus?
Go to Liverpool art college and stalk John and Stuart
Go to Hamburg 1960 and watch one of their early performances?
See them at The Cavern?
Go to The Ed Sullivan show performance?
A recording session at Abbey Road ?
Be in “A Hard Day’s Night /HELP!/Magical Mystery Tour ?
Go to the Shea Stadium pe

See Shea stadium concert?
Go to India with them in ’68?
Go to a party/club which they/other celebrities are at in the 60s?
Watch a “Get Back /Let It Be ” session ?
Or be in the background when they were
taking the Abbey Road album cover?
^^^^ These are just examples.
So what would you do?
Oh and if you’re in A Hard Day’s Night /HELP!/Magical Mystery Tour you are an extra i.e no speaking parts

I’d say go to India with them, because it be just relaxing and an exciting trip to see new things with the Beatles, and it would be an easy way to just talk to them. Though I’d like to sit threw their recording of every song and yell at them “YOU’RE DOING IT ALL WRONG!” No, nevermind I’m not that cruel.

I would want to see them in Hamburg, pre Ringo.
Same here. I’d go on a different night and we could compare notes: how many guitar solos in Roll Over Beethoven ; how many fights there were; the many ways that the 5 (would need to see Stu playing) insulted the German audience. I’d need to go with either a couple of burly minders or in a impenetrable bubble to ensure i came out alive.

Me too or maybe see a Quarrymen/Silver Beetles rehearsal and secretly tape it with a high quality recorder and sell it for millions back to Paul (why is my mind always on money at the moment O.o )

I would go to the Abbey Road cover photo shoot and yell, “LOOK OUT!!! A CAR!!!!” every 10 seconds. They’d probably get annoyed and make me go away. Oh, well.
And I’d also like to go to India with them.

I wouldn’t have wanted to go to India, as I’ve suspected Something Happened between John and Paul that accelerated the break-up.
But I would have liked to have been one of the photographers for Mad Day Out. Any photo shoot, really, but especially that one.

It’s too funny that this thread went up today because:
Choosing from the list, I would have to go with India. I’d have to get Jane out of the picture… but that would be easy enough.
I agree with Parlance, I would LOVE to have been there for the “Mad Day Out” photo session.. That would have been very excellent.
The meditation dome? That would be sweet!

Tough question, I’d just pop up at the toilets while they’re smoking pot before the MBE thingy, or on second thought any trip session. I’d slap the cig out of George, warn John about being popped off by some looney, tell Paul about what smoking’s gonna do to him, and tell Ringo to go easy on the alcohol. Some time later they’ll probably think I am just a hallucination . I might ask them to sign a few albums or two. But this would impact the world big-time.

I was watching the Anthology earlier, and it was just a cig that they smoked at the MBE, the pot thing was just a rumor.
It would be fun to be around while filming HELP, speaking of being baked…
