I like the name just fine! Yeah, it’s a dumb pun, but tons of band names were dumb puns back then. Plus it just suits them somehow.
If I had to change one thing, I might give Billy Preston more prominence in their later days. His organ is really cool on stuff like Get Back , and I think it would be interesting to hear him sing some backing vocals.
Grooving some cookie spaghetti since 1968.

But for reals, I’d make the album version of “Get Back ” have both the coda and the chatter.

What the hell is wrong with Paul having compassion for other beings? I can never understand why people put down vegetarianism. Also, Ringo is vegetarian too, why wouldn’t you change that? Because he’s not vegetarian for moral reasons, but instead for health reasons? John and George were also vegetarians at some points in their lives.

Offline I didn’t read all the recent responses to what I said years ago.
All I can say is this:
I don’t really remember saying that, nor do I currently believe that. It’s none of my damn business what Paul chooses to or not to eat and it certainly doesn’t ruin the band for me. It’s pretty uncomfortable for me to read that because it makes me sound pretty intolerant.

Offline A few things I would change.
1. They should have sat Pete Best down and told him to his face that he wasn’t in the band. It would have been the right thing to do.
2. They should have looked after Mal and paid him a decent wage after all the selfless service he gave to them instead of discarding him when he was no longer of use.
3. To have more of their gigs recorded properly.
4. For the original Cavern to still be standing as well as George’s house Kinfauns.
5. For all the efforts of the Let it Be sessions to have been channelled into a more productive project.
6. After Abbey Rd they could have agreed to take an indefinite break to do their solo projects and just reconvene whenever they wanted without any pressure.

I know you wrote that quite a while ago @GniknuS but yes I know about that experiment. If anyone is interested there is a book called The Intention Experiment which includes that and also other experiments carried out under scientifically controlled conditions like purifying lakes and making plants grow. That stuff really fascinates me and I wonder how aware people really are of their true potential to affect the world around them. (I know I sound like a tree hugger).
