Hi guys,

First post here…

I’ve been working for over 8 years as a DJ doing my own show on http://www.Beatlesarama.com. I love the freedom my boss has given me over the years. Basically I can do anything I’d like as long as it has even just a tenuous link to the Lads…which has allowed me to have great fun producing my show over the years.

Recently I needed to track down 2 interviews that I had heard in the past…but was unable to find them in my over 10TB of Beatles rarities…even after a good 8-10 hour search. I was wondering if, with my limited descriptions, either of these might ring a bell to help you steer me in the right direction. I’d greatly appreciate any guidance you might be able to give.

The first interview was with Cynthia Lennon and she talked very candidly about John’s drug use and how it affected their marriage. I seem to remember her talking about his use of Acid as opposed to just pot smoking. She was very open about the negative effects it had on him, his music and their marriage.

The second was an interview with John where he very clearly, succinctly and eloquently responded to the accusations by the media about his quote that The Beatles were bigger than Jesus. I have a couple of easily found press conference tapes and a few BBC rehash shows where he stumbles around and kinda does a half-apology…but in this one, he really clearly spelled out exactly what happened and his thoughts and feelings about it… and did it brilliantly. It was great!

And I heard them both once or twice and then promptly lost them… possibly somewhere in my collection and possibly not. It’s very frustrating to know (or at least think you know) you have something and can’t find it!

I’m sure you’ve experienced that a lot too! LOL

Anyways… does either of those descriptions ring a bell? I wish I could provide more info or even a year (for the Cyn interview) but I can’t. And I’m assuming the John Jesus interview was done within a year of the incident.

Any thoughts?

Thanks so much for taking the time to read this and mull it over!
