A bucket of blood fell on someone? Is it only me who’s never heard of a bucket of blood?

Or is that an American saying I don’t get?

Yes, a bucket full of blood fell on someone or I think it may have been slushie instead of blood cause thats Glee’s signature (slushie).

I don’t know if you can view this or not. The bucket begins to fall at 1:35 in the video.

I’m not going to watch it tbh, though thanks for taking the time to find the link. I appreciate your likes and tastes, but I’m much better off not knowing what watching Glee is really like.

I just thought, a bucket of blood. Strange thing to have a bucket of.

Edit: I’m sorry, sky.

Save yourself.  I went to the dark side (Glee), was never the same. paul-mccartney

To be honest, the show didn’t start off that bad. Its just gotten….yea…ahdn_paul_01Very sloppy writing and very poor singing.

 Edit: Its ok

Some of the comments were funny like about Unique. Bet some of them would be surprised to find out she is actually a he! Then there was one about Paul ruining Let It Be when he brought it into existence. I agree with the article and find it more amusing, then some those comments.

From the article Satan posted, one of the comments…

“It’s like someone feed the lyrics to a computer and it sang the songs, theres absolutelly no soul here, not even from the black kids”

That pretty much nailed it for me. I’m not doing the Glee music on my show; I think drinking bleach would actually be better for me than having to listen to that garbage any more than I already have…

You’ve taken a bold stance.

I guess the best thing I can say about ‘Glee’ is that it’s a mixed blessing.

It’s a gateway to better music for an impressionable audience, but it actually hinders itself by presenting the music in a completely altered and sanitized format.

Image how awesome ‘Glee’ could be if they just lip-synced to the real unaltered music…?

I’m a little late to the party but I am a huge fan of glee and I watched every episode (though I think the quality is falling hard) and when they do a episode about a band or artist, they talk a little about the band or artist to show that they know something about them. Here is what they say about the Beatles at the start of the “Love Love Love” episode (that is part one out of the two Beatles episodes)

Tina: I don’t think we’ve ever spent two weeks on an assignment, Mr. Shue.

Will: Hey, the Beatles are so epic that we need two weeks to do them justice. This week is all about the early years of the Beatles, when all they had was a belief in each other and a belief that together they could do anything.

Kitty: The school year seems like it’s never ending, and now we’re wasting two whole weeks on a band from the 1940s? Seriously, can anyone still relate to the Beatles?

Ryder:  Pretty much the entire world. Yeah, I can definitely still relate.

Kitty: Why? Were the Beatles dyslexic and cat-fished by transsexuals? And you wonder why everybody hates you.

Marley: When George Harrison was a kid, he was made fun of ’cause his dad was the bus driver.

Jake: John Lennon ‘s dad wasn’t even around. He walked out of John’s life when he was five.

Unique: I don’t really know the Beatles; I’m a little on the black side.

Artie: And Ringo Starr was a sickly little kid, which probably means he was sitting down a lot.

Will: And they decided to form a band. Which changed the world. Now, you guys are really gonna have to challenge yourselves this week. Bring your a-plus games. Perform these classic songs in new and exciting ways. If we can push ourselves to a whole new level, like the Beatles did constantly, we can win back-to-back national championships and form a new directions! Dynasty.

Who wrote that scripta-hard-days-night-ringo-8? Whoever it was should be issued with a restraining order that bans them from composing or contributing in any way to any script for the rest of their lives. Its atrocious.

ahdn_paul_06 I got that from a horrible transcript that didn’t separate the dialogue and you couldn’t tell who was saying what since they didn’t put names on anything.

The people who wrote the Beatles episodes are Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan

Glee introduced me to the Beatles, actually. I was watching the two episodes with my dad around, and then he asked me to play the original songs on youtube. And then, love happened.

Glee has become a horrible, horrible show, but some good things do come out of it every Now And Then . In my life, that good thing was the Beatles :)

ScrambledEggs brings up a good point: as super fans we may look down on this or that production, but the songs speak for themselves whether we like a given interpretation or not.

A speech about the Beatles from Tina In The Sky With Diamonds

Shue: We’re back with the Beatles. We’re leaving the mop-tops behind and moving into their experimental years. Now the Rubber Soul album marked a turning point for the group where they literally and figuratively let their hair down. Now the Beatles were the biggest musical act in the world. They could’ve remained in their comfort zones but instead they risked everything to explore new musical worlds. They had something important to say and they weren’t gonna let something as silly as the fear of failure get in their way.

I both like and dislike this. I like it because it played a huge roll in getting me in to the Beatles and for that I am forever grateful. I also think that the concept of honoring the Beatles is a nice one, however it was executed quite badly. I dislike it because they did a bad job covering the songs and didn’t do the Beatles justice. It seems like a lot of people have a problem with the episodes in question and the show in general but a little more than a year ago I really liked the show. Back then I even liked listening to their Beatles covers because i thought the songs were very good even though I wasn’t very fond of the singing. Nowadays I can not stand listening to them, especially Get Back , I Want To Hold Your Hand and Got To Get You Into My Life
