Hey Fellow Beatle Peeps!
I’ve done a time-coding of the entire 7½ hours of Peter Jackson’s masterpiece — all on one web page — meaning you can simply read thru it — or, you can just search for a song title or person or event or whatever and it’ll show you every time that song or whatever appeared WITH a time code so you can find it on the stream — or soon the DVD/Blu-ray. 😉
I added some background to some of the lesser known and non-Beatle songs they play, as well as on a bunch of the minor characters, and even some of the alternate locations that are mentioned, some specificity on some of the instruments, and pointed out some of the unusual shot compositions that a casual viewer might not pick up on, and transcribed some of the conversations not included in the book. 😉
I call this the Sistine Chapel of music documentaries. There have been a few Mona Lisas — Don’t Look Back, Woodstock, The Last Waltz, Festival Express — but with the size and scope of this epic — it’s rock’s first Sistine Chapel. 😉
I hope this is helpful and/or brings some additional joy to those in this global blessed Beatles collective.

There is no need for this thread, @Brian Hassett, as you have already posted the link to your breakdown of Get Back in the appropriate film thread, and where threads already exist on a topic it’s preferred that the existing thread is used (as you originally did).
Were there a need for this thread, it should be in the “Beatles films, television and radio” section of the forum, rather than “Yesterday … and today” section of the forum, which is for more general discussion topics.

That was one brief comment on the 26th page of Get Back . Since this is a 20,000-word time-coded breakdown of the biggest Beatles release in a quarter century it seemed like maybe there oughta be one other place for Beatle people to find it.

Just trying to offer some advice on how the forum works, @Brian Hassett.
Had you created this thread with no link already in the Get Back thread, it’s likely that the mods would merge this with the GB thread. It’s a great addition to that thread, and a great piece of work from what I’ve read of it so far, but Joe and the mods prefer posts on a topic to be together, rather than have two threads discussing the same thing, which results in split conversations.
It’s why we don’t have multiple song threads, for instance. It’s not because threads aren’t sometimes created but because mods will nearly always move something to an existing thread if one already exists.

@Joe has always encouraged all members of the forum to draw attention to new threads that aren’t necessary as the subject is already covered by an existing thread. This is one such thread.
He has largely chosen his mods because of their ability before becoming mods to help with spotting things like this, among other things. It’s why I failed as a mod. Foot too often in mouth without taking the necessary time to think. Not good in a mod with the ability to lock and delete.
I’m sorry if my observations and advice on the workings of the forum disappoint.
