Probably tea. Sympathy is nice but it requires something bad to have happened to you, while you can drink tea anytime.

George’s Gretsch Tennessean (I’m sure I butchered that spelling) or his Gretsch Duo Jet ?

Max. Ever since my mom saw Yellow Submarine , she randomly says “Rimsky Korsakov!” in Max’s voice. (Her impersonation of John also sounds like Max).

Cake-themed lines:

“All the world is birthday cake, so take a piece but not too much” or “too many people reaching for a piece of cake”?

All the world is birthday cake, so take a piece but not too much. So applicable to so many parts of life.

I haven’t heard either of them in full, but I’ll go with Memory Almost Full because it has ‘Mr Bellamy’, which I think is gear. (Also, I don’t like the title of KOTB as much.)

The one from It’s All Too Much , because a) I love that song and b) it sounds more sagacious.

Ron Nasty or Stig O’Hara?

Jane Asher, mostly because I know more about her and she seems like a really cool person.

Taxman , because of the brilliant guitar playing and sharp lyrics.

Tittenhurst Park or Dakota?

Tittenhurst Park. I’m not a city person and it looks so beautiful in the Imagine footage, as well as the last photoshoot the Beatles ever did (a-hard-days-night-paul-10).

Who would you rather be ruled by: Sun King or Her Majesty ?

Sun king all the way. He distributes drugs and music to his peasants weekly.

Oof that is very difficult… I’ll go with Sgt Pepper because while Abbey Road has many great songs it also has many not great songs, and all the songs on Pepper are fabulous.

Early Sixties John or Late Sixties John?

Love one another.

AHHH this is gonna kill me…If I have to choose I’ll pick side one, because the music is more energetic and kaleidoscopic, and flows better. Sorry WYWY and ADITL, though you’re my beloved ones, the middle of side two is less competent.

Ringo being kidnapped by mad scientists or Ringo being detained by police?

Ow. I’m gonna have to say solo George, because he really started coming into his own toward the end of the Beatles.

‘I now declare this bridge open’
or
‘Sorry we hurt your field, mister!’

Blackbird . Much more interesting lyrically, and it has cool history.

Disc 1 or 2 of ATMP ?
