Something . I love the fact that it’s shot in colour, unlike Help . I also love the fact that the Beatles partners are in the video (Patti in particular looks stunning in it), and the bit I always remember from the video is Ringo on the bike,it made me laugh when I first saw it .
What’s Paul’s masterpiece if you had to choose one, and why? Yesterday or Hey Jude ?

Father McKenzieI've been up on the mountain, and I've seen his wondrous grace,
I've sat there on the barstool and I've looked him in the face.
He seemed a little haggard, but it did not slow him down,
he was humming to the neon of the universal sound.

I’m Down . I like how, similar to Help ,the lyrics are quite downbeat and depressive, yet the tune is quite upbeat. I like that, thought it was clever. McCartney’s vocal is brilliant also.
Pick your favourite album cover from these two: A Hard Day’s Night or the Blue Album ?

A Hard Day’s Night . I spent hours poring over the little faces when I got the album, I just think it’s so clever and amusing and simple at the same time.
Plus, it produced ALL THESE GREAT SMILEYS!

George. I don’t think it’s a great song and the outtake therefore gives more interest to myself as it’s not the standard.

I’m Only Sleeping. I always love the guitar work in it, and John’s voice is full of psychedelic feelings and greatly fascinating.
Sunny songs: I’ll Follow The Sun or Here Comes The Sun ?

I’m going to go with I’ll Follow The Sun right now as I’m off Abbey Road until 26 September. (Yes, it’s difficult.)
Rainy (solo) songs: Mamunia or Blow Away?

Hmm… I love George, but I have a lot of pleasant childhood memories associated with Mamunia.

Mamunia. Along with Country Dreamer it’s how I got deep into Paul’s solo catalogue.
TWBG got there before me.
Here Comes The Sun . How could it not be – and I adore Here Comes The Moon.

Blow Away. Much more personally meaningful to me and I just generally like it better.

ATMP . SOrry
It’s a hard choice as both albums have so many songs I couldn’t live without, but I just prefer the flow and atmosphere of ATMP .

Ringo. It’s early on in ‘62 and all I can think of with of George in ‘67 is his moustache and no.
