But Penny Lane didn’t, it reached #1. The US charted both sides of a single at that time. Given @The Hole Got Fixed’s response to my objection, I’m reasonably sure he’d rather get the points for being right than being in the rough area. There are right answers and wrong answers.
You also haven’t responded to my answer to your last question to me.

If The Hole Got Fixed thinks that he doesn’t deserve the points then he won’t get them.
By the way, ADT and 8 track are just for decoration.

The claim came from Geoff Emerick in his book Here, There And Everywhere: My Life Recording the Music of The Beatles. Some advice, you need to think more carefully about your phrasing of questions, and check your answers more.
Had I answered the question on Parlophone releases of Capitol releases, I also wouldn’t have considered the export albums for Europe as they are very niche. I would’ve thought you were referring to the UK. I would’ve named just Magical Mystery Tour and Hey Jude (aka The Beatles Again), which you missed.
The same thing with the US #8s, I knew there were two on the Billboard chart, and when I double-checked, I discovered another on the Cash Box chart.
It’s a good thing you’re coming up with the questions yourself, but you have to fully check the answers, and make sure you phrase the question correctly.
Correct, you earn 500 points and move 5 spaces to instrumentation.
As for the Parlophone export albums, i didn’t specifically mention UK in the question.
I said
What Beatles albums created for the US by Capitol eventually got a Parlophone release?
I intentionally said it in such a way so the guesser of the question wouldn’t think about the European exports while not saying anything that excludes them.

Then I would call that a trick question, aimed at getting an incorrect answer.
I don’t like trick questions.

But they’re great for getting people to think and when you want to give someone a real challenge although it does suck a little for the person who’s answering the question if they don’t like to think deeply or if they’re not incredibly knowledgeable when regarding the subject.

Bob Spitz mentions this in his Beatles bio, but he also acknowledges that there is little solid proof behind the statement. Bob Spitz’s book is also known to contain many factual errors, which is why i put the book down halfway through.

Even a really knowledgeable person can be thrown by that sort of question.

I didn’t know that Hey Jude got a parlophone release anyway, so I would have only gotten 1 anyway.

No, they’re dishonest. That is why they’re called trick questions. I want you presenting an honest game, not one based on trickery.
Also, because you missed out Hey Jude , even your own answer was wrong.
And that is without going through the countries whose home label was Parlophone (The Beatles appeared on three main labels worldwide: Parlophone, Capitol, and Odeon), and released a combination of US and UK albums.

It’s not that I don’t like the game, @Dark Overlord. It is the first run-through. There are bound to be glitches that need ironing out.
As I’ve said previously, getting the questions and answers right is important.
I’m always happy to have a look at any with the answers you’ve got (other than questions for me, obviously) to help you out.
Overall you’re doing a good job, it’s just a case of fine-tuning (and not doing silly things like giving points for a completely wrong answer).
You are perfectly capable of doing this, and getting better at it.

Thanks for being nice about it. By the way, i double checked Wikipedia and Hey Jude wasn’t originally created by Capitol like my question asked:
I said
What Beatles albums created for the US BY CAPITOL eventually got a Parlophone release?
Hey Jude was created by Apple not Capitol which therefore means that i wasn’t wrong by not mentioning it.

Sidenote: let’s have the winner run the next game, and the winner of that game run the game after, and so on. I think we will get a wider range of topics and questions if we do it that way.
