13 last meals you would request if your fate necessitated one
1. Steak, loaded baked potato, broccoli with cheese sauce and chocolate mousse for dessert
2. Oven baked cheese and onion pizza left to go cold, cold glass bottle of irn bru, large bag of crisps (not sure of flavour, depends on my mood at the time).
3. Shepherd’s pie. I’d demand dessert to prolong my life. Angel food cake with whipped cream and strawberries, probably.
4. Fish and Finger Pie. Failing that – Smoked Haddock.
5. Whatever @HongKongLady had cooked that night, all her dishes look brilliant!
6. Beef vindaloo, Irish coffee, cherry cheesecake for dessert. And something nice to smoke afterwards.
7. Breakfast. Apple-cinnamon waffles with whipped cream, plus scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, pumpernickel toast, and a glass of (the good kind of) orange juice.
8. Filet mignon and red wine.
9. Fry Boneless chicken wings with straw mushroom, carrot, ham, baby corn inside, steak thin lean pork roll with onion and garlic and coriander inside and black pepper
10. Bacon cheeseburger, medium well, with onion rings and a thick chocolate shake.
11. Starter: fugu sashimi (if you’re going to try a dish that could kill you, seems as good a time as any); main course: Wagyu tenderloin with white asparagus, crushed chilli potatoes in a Guiness beef gravy; I’m not really a dessert person so I’d go for a cheese board of the world’s stinkiest blue cheeses (for the benefit of the guards), white and black truffles, Almas caviar, Saffron crackers and civet cat coffee.
