@Richard, I thought it was piano too until I looked at Paul’s official website with the lyrics for the song: https://www.paulmccartney.com/…..on-delight
It’s pillow.

Thank you, AG.
I usually regard http://www.paulmccartney.com/d…..aphy/songs as being the definitive lyrics but I’m not sure for Monkberry Moon Delight ?
In Paul’s book ‘Blackbird Singing: Poems and Lyrics 1965-1999′, the opening lyrics for Monkberry Moon Delight are given as: “So I sat in the attic / A piano up my nose”.
There are also some other variations between the lyrics for this song as shown in the book and on Paul’s website. For example, “Ketchup soup and puree” instead of “Ketch up Super doorsy”.
MMD isn’t included in ‘The Lyrics: 1956 to the Present’ unfortunately.

The lyrics on Apple Music say “piano” and “ketchup, soup and puree” too.
I think the lyrics on the official site are just wrong. “Ketch up Super doorsy” can’t be right. And I definitely hear “piano”. It just doesn’t sound anything like “pillow”.
