It did close in 1962, @Magill, but the basement rooms weren’t changed in any way, and in the 2000’s it was reopened as a tourist attraction. What JJ is looking for in this list are buildings that have been demolished or no longer exist for some other reason.

As already said, @Magill, if the building is still standing it does not count for this round. The building must no longer exist. If the building is owned by different people, or has a different use, it doesn’t matter, the actual building still exists (very few buildings have the same owners and/or are used for the exact same purpose with the same name 50/60 years later).

It is whether the building still exists, @Magill, not whether it still has the same name and/or a different use.
The building that housed the Top Ten Club still exists, and is currently a place of worship. Had it been demolished and a different building had been built on the site, it would count, but it is the same building that they once played in.

Where can I get the Holey Bible?
Hey @Magill, just wanted to make sure you knew Holey and I were just joking around. The Beatles Bible House (BBH) is an imaginary place where all forum members are welcome to let their inner Beatle out in any way they see fit. Anything is possible there as the laws of physics do not apply. There is a room with your name on it if you are interested! Sometimes things that happen there may leak over into the forum proper. Just to be clear, our Holey did not write this book (at least I don’t believe he did ). Here is the link if you want to visit sometime.

I’m very glad you still have that
And yes, things have calmed down since then… that was very scary, and for it to make front-page news. Ahhh the memories…

I thought the beginning had a different tempo before the drum kicked in. But that’s ok. If anybody has another song to replace, please do.

I’d like to thank a T-shirt I bought several years ago showing Beatles American tour of 1964. I checked Wikipedia to see what exists and what is gone. I will now sit back and watch you guys complete list. I will only do this again if we get stuck. By the way, I see the Kaiserkeller in Hamburg is still going strong.

13 Beatles songs that could be considered a “ballad” (That is, a stylized storytelling song or poem, NOT a sentimental ballad which would be a simple love song):
No fair peeking at a song list, try it from the top of your head!
