I googled Dakota as I wasn’t sure … my American geography isn’t the best … and apparently there is a city called Dakota in Minnesota, though I realise that Paul probably wasn’t referring to the city … it is still a city!
Just googled it again and it is a big city with a population of 323! 🙂
