13 CONNECTIONS BETWEEN THE BEATLES AND THE ROLLING STONES
1. Both recorded I Wanna Be Your Man and Money (That’s What I Want)
2. Decca Records (auditions and first contract)
3. Both groups managed by Allen Klein
4. George reputedly recommended them to Dick Rowe when both were on a panel judging a band talent competition in Liverpool and asked if he knew of any groups that were worth a look.
5. Paul and John sang backup on the Rolling Stones’ We Love You
6. Let It Be and Let It Bleed (more a similarity than a connection, I guess)
7. Both part of the British Invasion
8. Cloth Shirley Temple doll on Sgt. Pepper ‘s cover has a jumper that says: “Welcome The Rolling Stones”
9. Billy Preston played on several Beatles recordings (e.g. ‘Get Back ‘) and several Rolling Stones recordings (e.g. ‘If You Can’t Rock Me’)
10. Mick Jagger sang backup on All You Need Is Love as seen on Our World telecast.
11. Brian Jones played alto saxophone on You Know My Name (Look Up The Number)
12. The Beatles’ faces on the cover of Their Stanic Majesties Request

If you are stuck, we can include:a) Shows that just showed a promo video or
b) Shows that just showed a brief snippet of a performance
How about shows where they performed solo? Or is that stretching the theme?

I don’t think we have to go that far yet. I can think of several already by just counting promo videos or brief video clips. But I don’t want to hog this category.
For example, where did you first see the HeyJude/Revolution videos?
