This is what happens when you don’t carry the title of the list across. I’ve not made an entry on this list, so I’ll leave those of you who have to decide what you should do. Here’s the thing though, the title of the list is, “Beatles songs with a number or numbers in the lyrics but NOT in the title”.

The last two entries:

10. Two of Us – “Two of us, riding nowhere, spending someone’s, hard earned pay…”
11. Eight Days A Week “I ain’t got nothing but love girl, Eight Days A Week …”

Because you’ve stopped carrying the title of the list across, some of you have forgotten the subject!

Here endeth the sermon!

"I only said we were bigger than Rod... and now there's all this!" Ron Nasty

Hmm… I’m not so sure that counts. “Once” isn’t a number, and the objective is to find lyrics with numbers in them… Nope. It doesn’t count.

This is still the list:

Beatles songs with a number or numbers in the lyrics but NOT in the title:

1. All Together Now – “One, two, three, four, can I have a little more?”
2. I’ll Follow The Sun “One day you’ll look to see I’ve gone”
3. You Never Give Me Your Money – “1 2 3 4 5 6 7, all good children go to heaven”
4. Taxman – “There’s one for you nineteen for me”
5. Come Together – “One thing I can tell you is you got to be free”
6. I Saw Her Standing There “She was just seventeen”
7. A Day In The Life – “4000 holes in Blackburn, Lancashire”
8. I’m So Tired – “I can’t stop my brain, y’know it’s three weeks”
9. She’s Leaving Home – “Wednesday morning at 5 O’clock, as the day begins”

Also known as Egg-Rock, Egg-Roll, E-George, Eggy, Ravioli, Eggroll Eggrolli...
