New topic: Beatles songs that never use the word “LOVE”
1. Penny Lane
2. Something (someone quoted this as saying “I Love You” without saying “I love you” forgot who though)

I just realized something!!! “You’re asking me will my love grow” is from Something ! LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, this is pointless now, but whatever…

Songs, Beatles or otherwise, with punctuation marks in the title
(Specified Beatles-or-otherwise because I don’t know if there are a full 13 in the Beatles catalogue)

1. The Byrds – What’s Happening?!?!

2. The Beatles – Help !

Just a tangential observation:  I bet there has never existed a pop song (any genre) that has a semi-colon in the title.

5. Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da

(That’s a two-fer:  hyphens, and a comma!)

Oh snap, I TOTALLY forgot about the existence of apostrophes as punctuation marks in the catalog! I’m sure there definitely are more than 13 Beatles songs that qualify, in that case.

(xxxpost – I’ve been racking my brain and following hunches as research for the last hour trying to think of a song with a semicolon, Funny Paper, and have indeed been unsuccessful! I can think of an album title or two with a semicolon, but that’s all. The search continues…)

GEORGE: In fact, The Detroit Sound. JOHN: In fact, yes. GEORGE: In fact, yeah. Tamla-Motown artists are our favorites. The Miracles. JOHN: We like Marvin Gaye. GEORGE: The Impressions PAUL & GEORGE: Mary Wells. GEORGE: The Exciters. RINGO: Chuck Jackson. JOHN: To name but eighty.

New: Beatles songs with a number or numbers in the lyrics but NOT in the title (Revolution 1 and Revolution 9 , for example, don’t count). Must put the lyric as well as the song title. Songs cannot be repeated, even if it is with different lyrics.

1. All Together Now – “One, two, three, four, can I have a little more?”
