N – not usually mean to innocent people
O – oinks sounds nice.

I don’t believe you can get around Joe’s decision on forum games by just inserting the word “Beatles” into the game title, @Little Piggy Dragonguy. The most likely thing you’ll achieve is having Joe lock the thread if he believes people will just try getting around his ruling.
Plus, your first entry in still trying to get your game about pigs played doesn’t stand up to any scrutiny. The Beatles, John in particular, could often be incredibly mean to people. Lovable as they were, they were not always the nicest of people.

I know The Beatles could be extraordinarily mean to people – that’s why I changed it from “never” to “not usually” to include The Beatles. It’s possible that they were frequently mean to innocent people, but it’s unlikely that they were usually mean to innocent people.
If it’s really bothering you, @Ron Nasty , we could exclude the “that can also be applied to pigs.” I just thought it would be a fun challenge for us to come up with things in this particular category.

The A-M and N-Z rounds for things from Joe’s pages were established when the A was given (look back in the thread). Let’s do the N-Z round like planned. Then we can do 13 things we appreciate about The Beatles (with or without having a letter restriction).

This will require two rounds using the ABCs. List something for the letter and tell something you don’t know about that person, thing, place, word, etc. that you learn from reading one of @Joe’s pages. I know some of the very knowledgeable people may have a hard time finding something they don’t already know, but I hope they can. This round is A-M.A – Astrid. The park where she took her first pictures of The Beatles was Der Dom.
Great topic!

B – Bob Dylan was not the first to introduce the Beatles to marijuana.
We first got marijuana from an older drummer with another group in Liverpool. We didn’t actually try it until after we’d been to Hamburg. I remember we smoked it in the band room in a gig in Southport and we all learnt to do the Twist that night, which was popular at the time. We were all seeing if we could do it. Everybody was saying, ‘This stuff isn’t doing anything.’ It was like that old joke where a party is going on and two hippies are up floating on the ceiling, and one is saying to the other, ‘This stuff doesn’t work, man.’
