It said so on every lyric site. I confess I haven’t listened to the song much..so I wasn’t sure. It’s pretty thing..I checked it again. Sorry.

Hahaha! I think it’s “pretty thing”, too. I refrained from looking at a lyric site and listened to it again just now for the next line:
“It’s not so funny…”
I hope listening isn’t cheating. Ooop.

Rules are simple, I’ll name a song and do the first lyric, each turn someone will add a lyric to the song. The person who finishes the song gets to pick the next one.No looking up lyrics! The fun of the game is seeing what you know, so if you don’t know it wait for someone else to answer!
Listening is cheating. The point of the game is to see what you know, not what you can hear. Anybody can listen to the song. That defeats the purpose.

:looks down, contrite: I promise I won’t listen after that. And to make amends, I’ll sit out the rest of the song. Back to your regularly scheduled game…

We can’t eliminate people, so if you get a lyric wrong (most minor mistakes will be okay unless it changes the meaning) you can’t go until at least three people have posted after you.

It doesn’t actually defeat the purpose. On the contrary, it makes you listen to something that you haven’t heard before, or for a long time, and in my opinion it’s a good thing because you’re learning something there, aren’t you? It doesn’t say anything about listening in the rules, does it? And if it’s a really obscure song that one has chosen, this thread will not be as alive.
Looking up the lyrics is the easy way out and it’s cheating, but listening sometimes even tests your patience.

That’s the problem with this thread. When a song is too obscure, people don’t know about it so have to find the lyrics whether by playing the song or reading the lyrics.
Though we should continue this in the Mother Superior thread since it was created for this purpose.

Well, try someone softer instead anything (?)
Is that right? If it is its a dreadful line. I always though it was “Well, try someone softer instead pretty thing” but then the lyrics are poor so why not “anything”?

Well the last line (where we left off) before we discussed rules for a couple posts was “It’s not so funny…”
Which should then go into “when you know what money can bring”…
So I think we’re mixed up. We already did the “soft in the head” part .

Sorry, that was my fault. I got lost in the discussion and the track got scratched.
