Hey Everyone!
Let’s play a new game I adopted from Sirius XM The Beatles Channel (thanks for the tip off, Lucy Hack!)
On Sundays, Bill Flanagan would host this program on the radio where he would use Beatles and solo songs to tell a story. It’s very simple; write a sentence using a lyric or title, and occasionally you may need to use (brackets) to reason and yes, use connective words. Copy the full statement of sentences until it feels like the story reached a natural conclusion.
Example: “A Wedding”
1) Lovely Rita (standing by a parking meter when I caught a glimpse of Rita)
2) standing by a parking meter when I caught a glimpse of Rita / If I Fell in love with you, promise to be true (If I Fell )
3) standing by a parking meter when I caught a glimpse of Rita / If I Fell in love with you, promise to be true / We Got Married
Ok? got it? copy and tell a story!
Start with this: “Old MacDonald’s Farm”
