I remember this tv show from the 80s. It was called The Greatest American Hero and was about a guy who was gifted a suit (by aliens) that gives him superpowers. I think he loses the instructions to how the suit works in the first episode, so he is constantly crashing into things and such. The theme song Believe It Or Not was also very popular. In fact George Costanza uses it for his answering machine message on Seinfeld. Don’t know if any of this is relevant to your song or not. Anyway, I’ll guess I’m So Tired ( I don’t know what to do)

I remember how William Katt’s character’s name was changed from “Hinkley” to “Hanley” a few episodes into the show’s run, after would-be assassin John Hinckley’s shooting of President Reagan; it reverted back to Hinkley by the time of Season 2…
Anyways, as noted, the character had trouble controlling his flight, and frequently crash-landed. Could the song be “Helter Skelter ?” (“I’m coming down fast…”)
GEORGE: In fact, The Detroit Sound. JOHN: In fact, yes. GEORGE: In fact, yeah. Tamla-Motown artists are our favorites. The Miracles. JOHN: We like Marvin Gaye. GEORGE: The Impressions PAUL & GEORGE: Mary Wells. GEORGE: The Exciters. RINGO: Chuck Jackson. JOHN: To name but eighty.

The song i have in mind is on the same album as Sigh’s last guess… Also note this phrase “the character had trouble controlling his flight” is pretty relevant

Happy Friday! 3 day weekend here in the states.
Maybe you are looking forward to today’s premiere of the new Little Mermaid movie? I believe the first penny-farthing model available in England was named Ariel (the mermaid in the movie). The most popular song from the soundtrack is Under The Sea, so of course your song must be Octopus’s Garden !

Are you a fan of the Sixties tv series The Prisoner?
The penny-farthing makes occasional appearances on the show as well as the end credits. Famously, the final episode features the Beatles singing All You Need Is Love
