wow you guys are serious Beatles fans. I never heard of this before. That line doesn’t fit easily syllables-wise.
“walk out on me” = 4 syllables
“throw tomatoes at me” = 6 syllables
I’m trying to sing it and make it fit, and the only semi-awkward way is to make “to-ma-toes-at-me” five rapid 8th beats (like a marching drum) with “me” the first beat of the 4th measure (remaining 3 beats no singing, leading to 5th measure starting with “lend”)
You can match the syllables like this
stand – throw
up – ripe
and – to
walk – ma
out – toes
on – at
me – me
For the actual topic, I guess it is time for a clue, since nobody has guessed correctly yet.
