As I recall, the question came up when someone posted this image of Suzy Parker.
When challenged they pointed to this list of songs attempted in January 1969 during the Get Back sessions. I think allowing these songs would substantially change how the game is played. Some of these “songs” don’t even have published lyrics.
Yes, there are a huge number of songs that were attempted during the Get Back sessions and other sessions, and many of them have never been officially published as Beatles recordings. I think it’s generally agreed that officially unpublished tracks should be excluded from consideration for this game.
That song Suzy Parker is in an unusual category: it has been published since 1970 in the Let It Be film. It’s a reasonably complete performance of the song, given a Lennon/McCartney/Harrison/Starkey songwriting credit, but it currently remains officially unpublished in an audio-only format.
Like mmm, I’m tending towards thinking that it could be wise to keep to songs from those 20 albums that you listed – possibly including the deluxe versions?

If a Get Back soundtrack album is released, then I think those songs would be a welcome addition.
That could amount to about 70 additional songs, although they are often incomplete versions – and there are some pretty odd offerings like Baa, Baa, Black Sheep.
If I recall correctly, Ron has played this game using at least one song from the Live! At The Star-Club album. Would you like to add your opinion on this general subject, @Ron Nasty?

I think I remember that too. Also someone once referenced a slightly different lyric from one of the deluxe reissues. I don’t really mind it as long as the “general” source is revealed after a few guesses. Otherwise the assumption is that it is from one of the albums listed and doubtful anyone is going to guess it.

Yes, it would be important for an appropriate hint to be given at a fairly early stage.

For the new picture, maybe:
Everybody’s Got Something To Hide Except Me And My Monkey
Reportedly, Paul believed that the song was about heroin – using the term “monkey”

Do not focus in the substance (which by the way is opium) but in the symptoms. How would they feel after smoking the opium.

That looks like an opium den; and opium is made from ‘poppies’, which is what the pretty (-drug-dealer dressed in convincing disguise as a) nurse is calling the little packets on her tray.

Have you seen “Once upon a time in America”? Remember De Niro smoking opium, how he looked after doing it?

Thanks for the hint SW. I believe this is the clip you are referring to. I Am The Walrus was the first song I thought of after watching it.

I think it’s important that I give a small hint:
* Regarding this specific picture, there is something out of the ordinary.

The individual squares look like an image of the 3 Anthology covers combined and then multiplied. Since the covers are a montage of Beatley memories, I’ll try the first verse of In My Life .
There are places I’ll remember
All my life though some have changed
Some forever not for better
Some have gone and some remain
