Maybe Helter Skelter ? (When I get to the bottom I go back to the top) After leading the first group of women to transverse Antartica (the Ice Maidens) she was awarded one of the countries highest honors.

“majoring” – Major Nicola Wetherill (and two other majors in the Ice Maiden team of six)
“in medicine”:
* Exercise Ice Maiden, the first all-female military transantarctic crossing … the vision of expedition leaders Major Nicola Wetherill and Major Natalie Taylor. The two adventurous Army doctors hope that the expedition will inspire others, particularly women, to seek adventure and to engage in arduous outdoor activity.
* The Ice Maiden team took part in medical research studies with the University of Edinburgh and the University of Minnesota.

Ooo, something else I didn’t know when choosing the picture, @Richard. Definitely remember her now, they appeared on BBC Breakfast quite a lot around the time of the expedition (before, during and after).
My google image search when I got the idea was “Major in Royal Army Medical Corp”. Was only interested in the uniform.
Damn shame you got it as my next clue was going to be the rather naughty (clue-wise)…
Can’t take the opportunity to post it though, can I?
Over to you, my friend.

Young Einstein’s teachers called him a simpleton, and sticking out one’s tongue is indeed a kind of foolish gesture…yet the eyes in his head saw the world going ’round. “Fool On The Hill?”

Both strong ideas! vonbontee’s suggestion is the closer of the two.

Except for the gender, this lyric from Another Girl fits well (Nobody in all the world can do what she can do)
