Nope (x2)
Wrong guesses:
Two of Us
I’m from Sweden and the picture is from an educational Swedish TV show for children, which is equally enjoyed by adults. But this has nothing to do with the song I’m thinking of. It’s just this particular picture/scene.

I’m thinking of a particular line, not the song title.

Donovan, who has many Beatles connections, had a hit with a song called Mellow Yellow, which could point toward Yellow Submarine – to which he contributed the “Sky of blue and sea of green” lyric.

Yes, that’s the song and connections I had in mind, @Ron Nasty.
I expected this puzzle might run for a while because, as you mentioned, Donovan has many other Beatles connections – including teaching his fingerpicking guitar style to John Lennon , who then used it on Dear Prudence , Julia , and Happiness Is A Warm Gun .
Anyway, you got it first time. Over to you, Ron.

Sorry about that, @Richard! I just know what a sneaky barsteward you can be in this game and wrote out the obvious straight away.
Afraid not, @sir walter raleigh. It is rumoured that Paul played bass on several tracks on the Mellow Yellow album (so far unconfirmed anywhere officially), the title track is very well credited though, and the bass was played by the session musician who also did the song’s arrangement, one of London’s top session musicians of the time (probably only rivalled by Jimmy Page, Chas Hodges and Big Jim Sullivan) and future Led Zeppelin bassist, John Paul Jones; though Paul does appear on the track as one of the background “revellers”.
It was also rumoured that Paul did the whispered “Quite rightly” in the chorus, but that was Donovan.
Anyway, onto the next…
