It looks like a wedding invitation. One of many not sent to Eleanor Rigby .

It’s a picture of a young Winston Churchill. A young John Winston Lennon wrote Love Me Do , although maybe the answer is an even earlier John song?
And in the end
The love you take is equal to the love you make

Afraid not, Richard. The only thought I had in choosing the picture was that I wanted a picture of Winston that didn’t have everyone immediately going, “That’s Churchill!” His age in the picture is irrelevant to the song; he is not.

lol, I did a google search on the image and it said it was ‘Young Czar Nicholas II’, hence my ‘Revolution ‘ guess! 🙂
As it is Churchill, I’ll go with ‘Taxman ‘ as one of his roles in government was Chancellor of the Exchequeur.

Hey Bulldog was my song, @sigh butterfly, and for the reason you identified, that Churchill’s nickname was “the British Bulldog”.
Over to you.

Ohhhhh yes.
For the non-UK BBers, there is a car insurance company called Churchill that uses a bulldog as its logo/mascot?

I’ll try ‘We Can Work It Out ‘
Try to see it my way (new way)
Do I have to keep on talking till I can’t go on?
While you see it your way (old way)

There are a lot of ways this one can go.
I’ll try Getting Better . (old way – worse, new way – better)
Also, it looks like an old school blackboard (The teachers who taught me weren’t cool).
