Girl
Soldier of Love
To Know Her Is To Love Her
Clues so far: it is related to Girl From Ipanema
Richard’s wavelength is right, it’s lyrics that match/oppose Beatle lyrics
It was recorded before ’65, and John is lead vocalist
As TS pointed out, I specifically said vocalist because the song is a cover!
Edit: Onto a third page! 2 more guesses!
I think it's great you're going through a phase, and I'm awfully glad it'll all be over in a couple of days

Okay here’s the answer!
The men in The Girl From Ipanema “watch her so sadly”, they may also say they have “Lonesome Tears in My Eyes ” !
My first thought was the song Girl, and then this song was literally my second thought! Who’d have thought that so many Beatles songs had similarities!
So does SB now carry on with a new photo? And what’s the verdict, do I now need to be banished for a bit?!

Heck no, that’s the first time in awhile that we’ve gone 18 rounds! Thanks for an excellent puzzler. And yes, @sighbutterfly takes over as the 18th wrong guesser. Curious @Richard, what was your guess?

‘Baby It’s You ‘?
His cap has 88 on it which could look like BB which sounds like ‘baby’ and he is pointing as if to say, ‘it’s you’! 🙂

A Hard Day’s Night (You know I feel alright)
Glad we’re getting the alright songs out of the way quickly, for I feel like that’s too obvious for a sighbutterfly puzzler. I will say that alittlebitolder’s guess seems more worthy of the depth of thought we shall be forced to soon, if none of us have thus far been correct.
